How Quiz Master Works

Quiz Master lets one host run a live quiz while players answer on their own phones. There is no app to install for players, and hosts control rounds, questions and scoring in real time.

Buy a quiz from the store (or create your own)

• Buy: The store has a wide range of quizzes to choose from, starting at free and increasing by number of questions.
• Create: Use our tools to create your own quizzes from scratch.
• Ad hoc: If you do not want to buy or create a quiz, you can run one ad hoc by choosing each question type and marking on the go.

Run the Quiz

• Once you have a quiz, run it from your dashboard using the "Run Quiz" button.
• You will get a preparation screen to set rules and scoring for the session.
• You also get a quiz number and QR code to share with players.
• When players join, you will see them in the player list.
• When you are ready, click "Start Quiz".
• The host sends each question when ready, including optional timers, media and answer rules.
• Players receive questions instantly and submit answers by either pressing a button or typing on their own screens.
• Different question formats are supported, including multiple choice, buzzer, text entry and drawing.

Theming and Customisation

• The host can customise the quiz with their own branding, including logo, colours and fonts.
• The host can change the theme mid quiz if desired.

Mark and Score

• The host can mark answers as correct or incorrect and scores are calculated automatically.
• Fastest-answer and bonus points are applied as configured.
• The host can even ask players to vote on the correct answer or reorder the options (fun for Blankety Blank and drawing rounds).
• The host leaderboard automatically updates during the game with current scores, player answers
• Scores and rankings can be sent to players whenever needed.

Finish and Replay

• At the end of the quiz, players can be shown final rankings and graphs.
• If you have bought or manually created a quiz, you can run it as many times as you want.
